You Showed Up: $7,048.46 Raised for Family Promise of Berks County
The results are in, and they are incredible.
Throughout January, shoppers at Kimberton Whole Foods Wyomissing had the opportunity to round up their purchase at checkout in support of Family Promise of Berks County. What happened next is a testament to the generosity of this community.
The Wyomissing team raised $3,524.23 in customer donations, and thanks to Kimberton Whole Foods’ dollar-for-dollar match, that number doubled to a grand total of $7,048.46 for our organization.
Every Dollar, Doubled
The Round Up at the Register program makes giving simple. Customers can round up their total to the nearest dollar or donate up to $20 per transaction, and Kimberton Whole Foods matches every single contribution. Since the program launched in 2020, it has raised nearly $2.5 million for local nonprofits across the region, and now Family Promise of Berks County is proud to be part of that legacy.
What This Means for Families in Berks County
These funds go directly toward our mission of helping families experiencing housing insecurity. From emergency shelter and transitional housing to case management and wraparound support services, every dollar raised helps a family in our community find stability and a path forward.
